NEW HOSPITAL AT PARNASSUS HEIGHTS

Construction includes is a 15-story, approximately 900,000 gross square foot (GSF) new hospital building, providing about 336 patient beds and expanded emergency department, imaging, and surgical services. Also included is the renovation of approximately 114,000 GSF of space in the existing Moffitt and Long Hospitals to enhance the inpatient clinical services and to address the need for increased patient capacity at Parnassus Heights. A new 15-story exterior stair at Moffitt Hospital, and seismic upgrade of the Moffitt Hospital to support acute care services beyond 2030 is also included. In addition, renovations of the existing Parnassus Central Utility Plant, demolition of the Langley Porter Psychiatric building, expansion of the existing Long Hospital loading dock, main hospital thoroughfare (Medical Center Way) and site utilities.
